Production Worker (6 Positions)

Delcato Foods is seeking reliable and motivated Production Workers to support general food production and processing operations across multiple departments. Successful candidates will work under the supervision of the Lead Hand and contribute to daily production, packaging, and warehouse activities as required.

Job Duties

• Process raw produce and move throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Wash and clean fruits, vegetables, and meat for peeling and processing
• Feed clean produce and meat into processing machines for cutting and chilling
• Assist machine operators to ensure equipment settings meet product specifications
• Pack produce into bags and other containers and organize products accordingly
• Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment
• Inspect products and packaging for basic quality defects
• Assist process control staff and machine operators as required

Requirements

• No formal education requirements
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a food production, food processing, or manufacturing environment
• Good English language skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Compensation and Work Conditions

• Full-time, permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week
• Hourly wage of $19.25; overtime paid after 44 hours per week
• Work location: 30 Dohme Avenue, Toronto, ON, M4B 1Y9
