Factory Maintenance Worker

Pride Pak Canada Ltd. is Canada's largest fresh fruit and vegetable processor, operating a modern food manufacturing facility in Mississauga, Ontario. Our production areas are maintained at approximately 5°C (40°F), and employees are required to wear appropriate clothing for refrigerated work environments. We operate day, afternoon, and night shifts, with some positions requiring weekend work. Factory Maintenance Worker (3 vacancies)

Job Duties:

• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of production equipment, machinery, and building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and support continuous food production operations.
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and maintenance requests to reduce production interruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies, food safety standards, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Work collaboratively with production and sanitation teams to support daily manufacturing operations.
• May supervise or provide guidance to other maintenance workers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing, food processing, or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and industrial equipment.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated, fast paced food manufacturing environment.
• Good English communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.
• Annual salary of $37,440.00, with overtime pay applicable after 44 hours worked per week in accordance with the applicable employment standards.
