ALM Construction Ltd. is seeking an experienced Concrete Finishing Foreman or Forewoman, for full-time permanent employment. Wage is $38.00 per hour for full-time work plus two weeks paid vacation. Job sites vary so you will need your own transportation to get to work. Therefore reliability is key.
Job Requirements:
1. Experience: at least 2 to 3 years of related experience
2. Language: high level of English is required (speaking, reading and writing)
3. Education: completion of high school at minimum/high school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties:
- Supervise workers and projects
- Co-ordinate and schedule activities
- Train or arrange for training
- Set up machines and equipment
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Recommend personnel actions
- Read blueprints and drawings
Supervision: 5-10 people, cement finishers and labourers
Own tools: Steel-toed safety boots and hard hat.
Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication, able to work under pressure, organized, a team player, reliable
