Cynthia Goodjohn family is seeking a full-time Home child care provider.

Completion of secondary school
Job requirements:
- 1 year of experience in Childcare is required
- Demonstrated ability to perform work
- BC Driver’s license
- First aid and CPR certification
Language Requirements:
English

Wage:
$18.00/hour
Hours:
30 hours per week

Job Duties:
- Supervise and care for 3 children in the employer’s home
- Prepare and serve nutritious foods and meals
- Take children to and from school and extracurricular activities
- Assist with homework and school assignments, providing guidance to reinforce learning
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home and administer basic first aid when necessary
- Guide the children in developing daily routines, including hygiene, chores, and screen time limits
- Encourage reading and learning through age-appropriate books and educational materials
- Promote respectful behaviour and assist with conflict resolution among siblings
- Organize occasional outings or playdates, with parents’ consent, to support social development
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Communicate regularly with parents about children's routines, progress, and any concerns
