We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in maintaining our fleet's efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair trucks, trailers, and other fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, and engine diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems in trucks and coaches.
- Conduct pre- and post-inspection checks on all vehicles to maintain compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with the logistics and maintenance teams to prioritize urgent repairs.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing job duties.
Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in truck and/or coach maintenance, or in a similar role;
- Completion of secondary school or its equivalent;
- Certification as a Truck and Coach Technician;
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team setting.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and software.
- Experience in maintaining equipment used in nurseries or similar industries is an asset.
