Personal Support Worker – Home Support
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide care for a person with a physical disability.

Location of work:
Etobicoke, Ontario

Duties and Responsibilities: 
•    Administer bedside and personal care to client such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
•    Meal preparation, feed or assist in feeding
•    Perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse
•    Light housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds
•    Provide personal care
•    Conversation and companionship (mental and social stimulation)

Work conditions and physical capabilities:
•    Combination of sitting, standing, walking

•    Standing for extended periods

Skills requirements:
•    1 year to less than 2 years
•    Secondary school education
•    First Aid Certification 
•    Full G driver's license required to attend doctor's appointments in Oakville and Brampton

Language of work:
•    A good command of English is required

Terms of employment:
•    Permanent /40 hours per week

Hours of Work:
From Monday to Friday  
The shift is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Salary:
$ 23.00 per hour
