Terms of employment:

Full-time, Permanent

Job requirements:

-  Completion of college or training program in hairstyling or related program to perform the job

OR

-       Minimum 2 years of experience as a hairstylist is required

Language Requirements:

English

Start date:

ASAP

Compensation:

$20/hour (guaranteed) plus commission bonus depending on sales

Hours:

30-40 hours per week

Vacation:

4% vacation pay

Benefits:

Tips, Extended medical, Paid sick leave (up to 5 days/year)

Duties:

- Provide recommendations for hairstyles based on customers’ instructions and preferences.

- Cut customers’ hair using various techniques.

- Bleach and dye customers’ hair, including highlighting, streaking, etc.

- Handle chemical services such as straightening, curling and waiving, including digital permanents.

- Analyze hair and scalp conditions and provide advice or care treatments.

- Shampoo, rinse, dry and iron customers’ hair.

- Perform receptionist duties when required.

- Maintain supplies.
