Carpenter

RC Drywall Ltd. Is looking for 2 Carpenters (NOC 72310) to join them ASAP.

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 35 hours a week)

Wage: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour (based on experience)

Duties:

• Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins and glue.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk and marking gauge.
• Maintain records, document actions and present written progress reports.
• Replace panes of glass, ceiling tiles and doors.
• Finish surface of woodwork or wallboard in houses and buildings using paint, hand tools and paneling.
• Utilize chisels, planes, saws, drills and sanders to repair and erect structures.
• Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass or drywall.
• Install partitions, doors and windows.
• Move and install machinery.

Job requirements:

•      Education: Completion of High School is required.

•      Experience: Min. 1-2 years of previous experience in the relevant field is required.

•      Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure and in all weather conditions.

•      Physical Capabilities:  Ability to work long hours and / or weekends are required, Heavy lifting may require, at times.
