Are you a skilled Rough Carpenter seeking an exciting opportunity?

C D CONSTRUCTION INC is seeking a Carpenter to join their team to build residential buildings across the Greater Vancouver area.

Position Available: 1 Rough  Carpenter

Location: Various Greater Vancouver, BC

Salary: $30.00 to $39.00 per hour (40 hours a week, overtime available)

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate / Trade diploma or equivalent experience

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Job Requirements:

·        Proficiency in English

·        Carpenter Trade Certification is desirable

·        Ability to supervise 1-2 people and instruct apprentices.

·        Experience in concrete form work, particularly construction of new buildings

·        Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches

·        Strong understanding of building codes and specifications

·        Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Specific Skills:

·        Prepare layouts according to building codes

·        Erect trusses and form footings/foundations

·        Utilize easy strip and snap tie forming systems.

·        Build and repair wooden frames for concrete products!

·        Work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Work Setting: Construction of homes

Work Conditions: Fast-paced, outdoors, noisy, physically demanding.
