Job Description

Position:  Contract, Permanent, Full time with overtime as needed  

Salary: $24.00-$26.15/hrs. (min 30 hrs./week)  

Language:  Speak, Read, Write – English  

Education:  Graduation 

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year 

Hearthstone Inn Hotels is looking to fill 1 position of Office Administrator at each of their Dartmouth & PH, Sydney locations. Reporting to the Corporate Vice President, the key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Tasks 

  • Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures 

  • Delegate work to Office support staff 

  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met 

  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment 

  • Coordinate & plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services 

  • Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budget controls 

  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence 

  • Perform data entry 

  • Prepare food order summaries for chef 

  • Oversee and coordinate the office administrative procedures  

  • Monitor & evaluate
