Security Guard Supervisor

Job Description

The Field Security Supervisor is an employee who is highly informed of Armour policies and procedures. This employee manages and maintains all employees in the field, this includes Security Guards, Concierge, and field support staff.

 

Job Duties:

Fill mobile unit inspections forms, keep tracks of vehicle maintenance, gas levels, KM's, and general car cleanliness. Ensure your mobile support staff are cleaning the car after each use, and vacuuming as needed. Wash cars once per month.


Check car's inventory and keys kept in each car on a regular basis, this should be kept up to date every two weeks. Site inventory should also be checked at this time (radios/vests/etc).
In control of guard sign in / sign outs when scheduler is out of office.


Take all calls when possible. Your position will involve you both in office and out of office driving. If you are driving, answer call if exceeds more than 3 rings via car handsfree bluetooth.


Check and analyze employee tracktik reports. If employee not scanning checkpoints as needed, write them a warning. If they exceed more than 2 warnings, inform HR Agent.  Upload all warnings to payworks employee profile.

Check all incident reports daily.

Check all mobile support staff reports. Issue warnings as needed.


Aid in schedule by aiding in short notice absences. Ensure all employees assigned to site has proper training.

Train employees as needed via full site walkthroughs. You should be aware of all site requirements and able to locate all checkpoints on every site.

Fill in security staff on site as needed for emergency coverages.


Respond to security staff on site injuries. If employee is injured, go to site and fill incident report, ask if they need emergency assistance.


Follow dispatch run sheets, check guard site knowledge, guard uniforms, ensure they are scanning checkpoints and writing reports as needed. Depending on site locations, guards may need to do daily client counts. Issue warnings as needed. Install tracktiks as needed to site phones. Check on guards unsuspectingly to see how they act without supervision.


Aid in the Account Manager or Director of Training and Development in the development and maintenance of post orders. Conduct site visits with these members as needed.


Aid account manager in site development, install checkpoints as needed.
Check on client general happiness, report to Account Manager biweekly.


Aid HR Agent in payworks licencing maintenance and employee profile development (pictures).


Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Basic Security Training License (BST)
• Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Clean driving abstract
• 2 years of Security Supervising experience
• Must be available to work INSERT APPROPRIATE DAYS/HOURS
• Completion of High School or equivalent
• Previous experience in a Security position is an asset
• Conflict Resolution Training is an asset
