Job duties of a User Support Technician include:
· Communicate with computer users, both electronically and in person, to identify and document issues they are experiencing.
· Refer to user guides, technical manuals, and other resources to research and apply solutions.
· Replicate, diagnose, and solve technical issues reported by users.
· Offer advice and training to users to address identified problems.
· Provide support for business systems, networks, and Internet-related issues.
· Maintain a log of problems and solutions for use by other technical support analysts.
· Contribute to the redesign of applications and software.
· May oversee other technical support personnel within the group.
Language of work: English
Required education: Completion of a college program in computer science
Required work experience: Experience in the occupation is an asset
