WHAT YOU BRING
- Support early childhood educators with activities that support children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Engage children in fun activities like storytelling, singing, and crafts.
- Get snacks ready and set up areas for learning, lunch, and rest.
- Assist children in learning daily habits like eating, dressing, and using the toilet.
- Write down your observations about children and share them with educators or supervisors.
- Keep daycare equipment in good shape and help with cleaning and cooking.
- Watch over children for any signs of learning or behavior issues and report to parents or supervisors.
- Engage in discussions about how children are doing and any challenges in staff meetings.
- Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
QUALIFICATITONS
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
- First Aid Certificate
- Criminal Record Check
- Immunization records
- Experience: Experience an asset

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
COVID-19 considerations:
All drop off and pick up are done outside the building. Staff and children are required to have a daily health check. We have Covid-19 guidelines in place and have been audited by a licensing officer.
