Responsibilities
Tasks:
Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems
Repair and adjust system components
Complete test and maintenance reports
Remove and replace defective parts
Calibrate components and instruments
Logical approach for troubleshooting
Determine testing and maintenance procedures
Install new measuring instruments
Coach and instruct apprentices
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work
Read and interpret blueprints
Experience and specialization
Type of service and repair:
Pneumatic and electro-pneumatic sequential control system
Electrical control system
Electronic process instrumentation
Pneumatic process instrumentation
Computerized instrumentation system
Primary control element and sensors maintenance and application
Programmable logic controller (PLC)
Instrument experience: Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electronic, Electrical instruments
Type of industry experience: Industrial instruments servicing
Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence
